Mobile Truck Detailing

The space your driver spends the day in, plus the truck exterior — cleaned with products chosen for vehicles that work, not for vehicles that sit in a garage.

A cab gets dirty differently.

A truck cab collects work: dust off site, grit off boots, food eaten at the wheel and long hours in the same seat. The wear pattern is concentrated on the seat, the wheel, the pedals and the door card — and those are the surfaces a driver is in contact with all day.

Exteriors that carry road film.

Commercial vehicles spend their time in road spray, and the film that leaves is heavier and more baked-on than anything a car picks up. It needs a stronger pre-wash stage and more contact time before a contact wash makes any difference.

Scheduled around the work.

A truck that is being detailed is a truck that is not earning. Appointments are built around shift patterns and yard access so the vehicle is off the road for as little time as the work actually needs.

The cab is also a retention problem.

Drivers spend more waking hours in a cab than most people spend in their living room, and a cab that has been left to deteriorate is a daily signal about how the operation values the person in it. It is a small lever compared with pay or routing, but it is one of the few that costs little and gets noticed immediately — particularly on handover, when a vehicle changes drivers.

The difference

A truck wash and a truck detail are different purchases.

A drive-through truck wash gets the road film off the flat surfaces and it is the right tool for keeping a unit presentable between real cleans. What it does not do is the cab interior, the steps and grab handles, the seams where brine sits, or the wheels and lower panels where corrosion actually starts. Those are hand work, and they are what the detail is for.

Done at the yard, on your hours

Depot, yard or driveway — the unit stays where it is and the appointment fits around dispatch rather than the other way round. Gate hours and whether we can get fully around the vehicle are the two things worth agreeing at booking; that is usually all the planning it takes.

Questions

Before you book.

Can you come to our yard?

Yes, that is the normal arrangement. We just need gate access, somewhere we can get fully around the vehicle, and a confirmed window.

How long is the truck off the road?

It depends on the vehicle and its condition, and the window is agreed at booking so it can be scheduled around shifts rather than across them.

Do you do more than one truck at a time?

For several vehicles on a schedule, our mobile fleet detailing service is the better fit — it is built for recurring multi-vehicle work.

Do you clean sleeper cabs?

Yes, and they are treated as living space rather than storage, because that is how they are used.

Can you handle heavy road film?

Yes — commercial exteriors get an extended pre-wash stage before any contact washing, which is what actually breaks the film down.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the vehicle, its condition and your location. The exact total is shown and agreed in the booking flow before anything is confirmed.

Can you work around a driver changeover?

That is often the best time to do it — a cab handed over clean sets the standard for the next driver, and the vehicle is stationary and empty anyway. Tell us the changeover window at booking and the appointment can be built around it.

Do you clean the interior of box bodies or trailers?

The cab is the standard service. Box interiors and trailers are a different job with different equipment, so ask and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we can take on rather than quoting for it blind.

Mats do the work

Heavy-duty rubber mats in the footwells absorb the site grit that otherwise grinds into the carpet. Pulling and rinsing them weekly costs nothing and extends the interior's life considerably.

How it runs

What actually happens on the day.

The appointment follows the same order every time, because the order is what makes the result last.

Heavy road film needs chemical contact time before any contact washing. Skipping this stage is what drags grit across the paint.

Aftercare

How to keep it.

None of this is a warranty — it is just what actually makes the result last, from having watched what undoes it.

  • Mats do the workHeavy-duty rubber mats in the footwells absorb the site grit that otherwise grinds into the carpet. Pulling and rinsing them weekly costs nothing and extends the interior's life considerably.
  • Deal with the windscreen insideInterior glass film builds fast in a working cab — heater, dust and time. Cleaning it between details is a safety matter at dawn and dusk as much as a cosmetic one.
  • Rinse the salt off in winterRoad salt sits in wheel arches and lower panels and keeps working long after the road is dry. A plain water rinse through winter meaningfully slows corrosion on a vehicle that lives on the highway.
  • Report damage when it happensChips and scrapes noted early are cheap. Left through a season of salt they become corrosion, which is no longer a detailing problem.
  • Treat the sleeper as living spaceBedding, curtains and storage in a sleeper hold odour and damp the same way a caravan does, and they are the part most likely to be cleaned around rather than cleaned. Airing it out between runs, and stripping the bedding before a detail, makes a noticeable difference to how the whole cab smells afterwards.
