Fabric, down to the fibre.

Hot-water extraction lifts embedded dirt out of seat fabric and carpet rather than moving it around on the surface. That is the difference between a vacuum and a detail: crumbs and loose dust come out either way, but ground-in grit, old spills and pet hair need the fibres agitated and the residue drawn back out.

Every surface you reach for.

The dashboard, centre console, gear selector, steering wheel and door pulls are the highest-touch surfaces in any vehicle and the ones that show wear first. Each is cleaned individually and treated to reduce fading, then the vents and seams are cleared with detailing tools that reach where a cloth cannot.

Where the dirt actually hides.

Seat rails, footwell edges, cupholders, the boot lip and the gap between seat and console collect the material that makes an interior smell. Crevice work is slow and it is the part most often skipped — it is also the part that decides whether the result lasts past the first week.

Finished at your door.

The whole appointment happens where the vehicle already is. There is no drop-off, no shop waiting room, and no rearranging your day around someone else's schedule. What is needed on site depends on your address and the service booked, and is confirmed when the appointment is confirmed.

The difference

Why a vacuum never quite fixes it.

A vacuum removes what is loose. It does nothing about what is bound into the fibre — the ground-in grit, the old spill, the hair that has worked its way down into the weave — because none of that is loose any more. Hot-water extraction agitates the fibre, lifts the material into suspension and draws it back out. It is a slower job on purpose, and it is the reason a detailed interior still looks detailed a month later.

And it happens on your driveway

No drop-off, no waiting room, no arranging a lift home and back. The technician works where the vehicle already sits and walks the finished interior with you before leaving, so anything missed is put right on the spot rather than discovered on your way home.

The parts nobody photographs.

Under the seats, along the rails, inside the cupholder wells and around the seatbelt anchors. None of it shows in a photograph and all of it is where an interior either genuinely comes clean or only looks it from the driver's seat.

Questions

Before you book.

How long does an interior detail take?

Most interior appointments take two to three hours, depending on the size of the vehicle and its condition. Larger vehicles and heavier soiling take longer, and we confirm the expected window when the appointment is booked.

Do you come to my home or office?

Yes — the service is fully mobile. We work where the vehicle already is, whether that is a driveway, a parking stall or an office lot. If you are in a condo or a gated lot, tell us at booking so access can be confirmed in advance.

What do I need to have ready?

Park the vehicle somewhere our technician can walk fully around it, and take out anything valuable or personal. Anything else that may be needed on the day depends on your address and the service booked, and is confirmed with you before the appointment.

Can you remove smells and pet hair?

Pet hair and the sources of most interior odours sit in the fibres, which is exactly what extraction targets. Odour caused by something structural — a leak, mould behind a panel, smoke through the ventilation system — may not be fully resolved by cleaning alone, and we will tell you honestly on site if that is what we find.

Is my vehicle insured while you work on it?

Yes. Every mobile visit is fully insured, for every vehicle, on every appointment.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the service, the vehicle and your city. The exact total is shown and agreed in the booking flow before anything is confirmed — there is no deposit against an estimate and no surprise on the day.

How long will the interior stay looking like this?

That depends almost entirely on what happens next: passengers, pets, children, food in the car and whether it lives outdoors. A vehicle driven alone on a commute holds a detail for months. A family car with a dog in the boot is a different question, and most people in that situation settle into a rhythm of two or three appointments a year.

Do you move child seats and cargo liners?

Child seats have to come out to clean underneath them properly, and we will do that with you rather than around you — reinstalling one incorrectly is not a risk worth taking for a cleaner carpet. Boot liners and floor mats come out as a matter of course.

Take the mats out, not just the crumbs

Floor mats hold the grit that grinds into the carpet underneath them. Lifting them out and shaking them off every few weeks does more for the carpet than vacuuming around them ever will.

How it runs

What actually happens on the day.

The appointment follows the same order every time, because the order is what makes the result last.

We confirm access before the day

When the appointment is booked we confirm where the vehicle will be and whether anything about the location needs arranging — gated parking, a permit bay, an office lot with restricted hours. It is the most common reason a mobile appointment runs late, so it is settled first.

The vehicle is assessed with you

The technician walks the interior with you before starting, so you both agree on what is there: existing stains, wear, damage, anything that will not come out. Nothing is discovered afterwards.

Dry work, then wet work

Loose material comes out first — mats lifted, boot emptied, a full dry vacuum including under the seats and along the rails. Extraction only starts once there is nothing loose left to push around, which is what stops a clean turning into a smear.

  • Surfaces, then glass, then inspectionHard surfaces are cleaned and treated, vents and seams cleared, interior glass done last so nothing settles on it afterwards. The final walk-through happens before the technician leaves, not after.
Straight answers

What mobile car interior detailing fixes — and what it doesn't.

  • Comes outGround-in dirt, most food and drink spills, pet hair, road salt, general grime, surface odour held in fabric, and the film that builds on high-touch plastics.
  • Usually improvesOlder set stains, sun-faded plastics and light leather wear — better, often much better, but not returned to new.
  • Needs more than cleaningTorn fabric, cracked leather or dashboards, water damage behind panels, mould from a persistent leak, and smoke drawn through the ventilation system. We say so on site rather than charge for a result the work cannot deliver.

Aftercare

How to keep it.

None of this is a warranty — it is just what actually makes the result last, from having watched what undoes it.

  • Take the mats out, not just the crumbsFloor mats hold the grit that grinds into the carpet underneath them. Lifting them out and shaking them off every few weeks does more for the carpet than vacuuming around them ever will.
  • Deal with spills while they are still wetAlmost every stain we cannot fully remove was a spill that was left. Blot rather than rub — rubbing drives it into the fibre, which is exactly where extraction has to work hardest to get it back out.
  • Let it breatheMost interior smells are damp plus time. Wet umbrellas, gym kit and snow-covered boots in a sealed cabin will restart an odour problem faster than anything else. Air the vehicle out when you can.
  • Keep the sun off the dashboardUV is what cracks and fades a dashboard, and the treatment we apply slows that down rather than stopping it. Parking in shade, or using a screen in summer, is the single cheapest thing you can do for the interior's lifespan.
